Cysts, acne, abnormal pap, hair......what is wrong here? I have a doc appt this Thurs., so I was hoping to get a few hints from the professionals (all of you) before I went back for a check up. I'm trying to get pregnant, for several mths., & for eight mths I've had simple a cyst (Painful) on my right ovary. I've had an abnormal pap, colposcopy, and another abnormal pap (abnormal squamous cells of undetermined significane)-I'm getting that rechecked Thurs. NOW, I have been diagnoised by my Derm. with Perioral Dermatitis...all over my face......a little hair growth on my upper lip. I am soooo depressed over all of this. What is wrong with me? I was fine 8 mths ago, until I decided to have a baby. Also, had a CAT scan, it showed a couple cysts on my left & right ovaries (right cyst a little larger). How many cysts are considered for PCOS? Is this a hormonal Imbalance? What kind of tests are available? One more question, what would cause this cyst to stay for 8mths, & why wouldn't the docs seem more interested?
