Lisa,

I checked a web site that I know of and did find some information on both Clonidine and Paxil. According to the literature, there is a very small percentage of people who experience a decrease in sexual activity with Clonidine...the rate is about 3 in 100, but they do caution that in some cases, a link between this one drug and the adverse reaction could not be documented (that is, other drugs may have worked in conjunction with this to produce the effect or it could have been an unrelated symptom erroneously associated with the Clonidine). It's hard to tell. Hopefully one (or more!) of our physicians will be able to give you more information! According to the Paxil literature, whatever small effect on sexual function this drug might have seems to be associated much more with males than females, so you're in luck there!

Good luck to you...hope you find the help you need and something that works for you!
