ovarian cysts

I had a cyst that I did not know that I had rupture 4 days ago. I was told that after 2 days I should be feeling better. The third day I stopped the pain medicine. I felt terrible the later the day went. My lower back was cramping similar to a very bad cycle may feel plus many other symptoms like bloating, frequent urination, pain radiating down legs, headache, and then a fever of 102. After examination and internal and external ultrasound they found a lot of fluid around colon, bladder, and under diaphragm, and fluid and a mass behind my uterus. They think that the mass is a blood clot. I had a CT scan on the day it ruptured and they did not see anything that they told me about so is this an assumption that is probable?

I also saw on the ultra sound that my other ovary had 4 or 5 cysts on it. (Smaller that the large but now deflated one that they said had caused all the pain.)

Is this normal? He have me a shot of antibiotics. My fever is down today and not so much pain but still uncomfortable. What causes these, how common are they, why the fever, how long SHOULD it take for this "free fluid" and "blood clot" to absorb.

Thank you Linda
