Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: spotting" I started my period on Oct. 18 and yesterday I started to have a light brown discharge and today it's a little more with some red blood. I did this the first of August a week after my period. I started my regular period the end of August 33 days from the lmp in July. My normal periods start on days 31-33. My period in August was pretty painful (not unusual since giving birth 21 months ago) My period in September started on day 27 and my period in Oct was on day 31 and was not as painful but was a couple of days longer. Now I'm spotting. The only time I've spotted between periods was a short time I was on bc. I'm not on bc. A matter of fact I had a tubal when my child was born 21 months ago. Is this spotting normal?
