abcessFrom: Renee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 30 Oct 1997 08:39:16 -0600 (CST)
I am 34 yrs old, I went to the gyn. for a lump on breast and tenderness. I had a mammo and ultrasound and everything is okay while my doctor had me in there he did a routine exam and I explained about bleeding and pus coming from sores in vaginal area and rectal area he took a bacterial sample and explained he is concerned it may be a perirectal abcess. Why would these things occur in vaginal area as well? Should I explain to dr. Why do you get them? What are they caused from? I have had this problem for a while and was so embarrassed to mention it. I also get yeast infections on a regular basis, one possible explanation I was give is because I have a low immune system and am on small dose of prednisone daily 5mg very low. Please give some expanation I have looked everywhere what will they do about them now? Thank you, Renee Hawes
