Here's an update on my Bartholin Gland Problem: Went to see another OB/GYN for a second opinion. He told me that the lump is "abnormal in that it is not located where you would normally find Bartholin gland cysts." He says he "still believes it is a glandular cyst, but there is a chance that it could be a tumor". He wants me to wait three weeks to see if it goes away. If it doesn't go away, he says he will have to perform surgery and cut it out. The OB/GYN said that he will have to make a cut next to the vagina because he cannot get at the cyst any other way. (go in from the exterior-next to the vagina). Question: Should this turn out to be Cancer, could this spread during this three week wait, and can he tell if it already has spread (would there be other lumps)? Really need some expert advice. Anyone? Thank you. (P.S. he said the blood probably was from the first OB/GYN hitting a blood vessal. Possible??)
