This last few days I have noticed that my legs and hands (..but not my feet!) are swelling considerably. I can actually make pits in my legs by pushing on them and they take along time to disappear. I have not had another b.p. taken. To refresh memory....previous bps in 120/60 region...at 24 wks it climbed to 150/70 and weight gain for the month was 6kg. Now I don't want my doc to think i'm becoming neurotic, so I want to ask your opinion. Her reaction to 24 wk visit was not to worry about it...said it was ok. I am also taking labetalol 200mg per day, and aspirin. I have taken this since beginning of preg. Any advice greatly appreciated....Just seems very early to me for this problem to eventuate....25 wks now..Thanks, especially for previous advice. In Aus, where I live, it would be too expensive to get bp monitor for home use.
