Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: abdominal pain" This may be too vague a question, but I've been having a sharp pain on my left side right above the pelvic bone. It was really hard to pinpoint exactly where it was because it seems to feel pretty deep inside. It's not unbearable, but it is uncomfortable. It started yesterday, but I've had random pains before in this area. The occurrence would last maybe an hour or so, but this one is still sending sharp pains every now and then, and now it also feels kind of sore and maybe even a little tight. I've had three biopsies, two cryosurgeries (nov96 and jul97,) and a LEEP(may97), so I've had my share of problems. My first abnormal pap came back almost a year ago, so this has all happened very quickly. I have a check-up on November 5. Do you have any clues as to if this is some sort of problem or if it is related to my history, and is this something worth mentioning to my gyn?
