CryosurgeryFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 23 Oct 1997 13:39:46 -0400 (EDT)
Hi! I received this as part of an e-mail so I wanted to post it to the Forum physicians to hopefully get some opinions for Tammie. Thanks! Darcy Co-Moderator, Women's Health Forum Tammie writes: <<Just got off the phone with my doctors office and have scheduled for crygenic surgery in 2 weeks. Had some abnormal cells early in my pregnancy (lost my precious baby to triploidy in August), so they did a biopsy. Did not find any displasia this time but some other not normal cells (no problamatic mind you, but not normal). Anyway, I am anxious to get pregnant as soon as is possible and wanted a second opinion. My doctor tends to err on the side of caution and I am greatful for that. Nonetheless, I was curious as to what the doctors thought about cryosurgery in such a case. AND is there ANY risk to future pregnancies with such? Thanks Tammie L>>
