-- I am 26 years old. I have just been diaganose with pco 2 months ago. I did not start my peroid until I was 14. For 2 years I went to docs. ob/gyns and hospitals.I had 2 month periods, they were most of the time normal but they lasted 2 months. Finally 1 ob/gyn suggested to put me on bc., this helped for a year then I started having problems and they increased my pills and this continued until I was 24. Not any of the docs. that I went to could figure out what was wrong with me. Please do not put your daughter on bc. I have been trying for 2 years to get pregnant, unsuccessfully. I beleive BC pills have further complicated my problems. I have had many tests and I did not know until 2 months ago when by god's grace a cyst developed out side my ovaries and needed to be removed. Then my doc used a scope and found that the insides of my ovaries were filled with cysts. by the way I was not sexually active when they put me on the pill. Now I am being treated with Clomid, a fertility pill and they say it to can help you, I have yet to reap these rewards and that is why I am on the internet looking for answers to. Please what ever you do no BC pills it will make her life more diffucult later.
