can you become pregnant with a septum?

I have just learned that my uterus is divided in two halves by a septum. Could it be that my difficulty to become pregnant (apart from two ectopic pg's and two mc's) has anything to do with this? Is it true that a septum could function as a kind of IUD? Any information on the subject would be greatly appreciated, am very confused!
