I can't help you much with medication part, but I can sympathize with you on the migraines. I had my first migraine just months ago and ended up at the ER (so much for that experience--lousy doctor, long story) All I've been give by my regular doctor is Tylenol #3 and a prednisone to take for the bouts. Thankfully, this happens infrequently.

I know how horrible these can be. The effects can last for days afterward. Have you asked your ob/gyn what would be a safe alternative? You doctor would have the best knowledge of what is safe. I wish you luck!
