I have a complicated situation here. I had my son by emergency c-section in May, and my period returned Aug 11. I took BCPs for 2 1/2 weeks, but at the suggestion of my doctor, I quit taking them to attempt pregnancy again (I have endometriosis). My next period came on Sept 3. My question is, when should I test for pregnancy? Was the bleeding that began on Sept 3 breakthrough bleeding, or was this really my period? There was just 3 weeks in between.
