Coming from a woman who NEVER wears a bra (except when called for by work!) even though others think I probably should , here are my two cents: Maybe it was the underwire part of the equation that set you hurting? Maybe wearing a softer, non-underwire bra is okay? After my son was stillborn and my breasts were engorged, I remember it helped to wear my nursing bra (soft with no underwire) to bed for the extra support. I can't imagine that wearing a bra to bed (ie. someone wearing one all the time) could be cancer-causing - but I'd love to hear if it is. Then I would be vindicated in my utter hatred of those things!! :) (My breasts are big enough to warrant wearing one, but I just hate them....it's very rare to find one that fits me since I'm a large woman to start. Even the comfy nursing bra that I wear - not because I'm nursing - isn't the most comfy thing in the world! I'm not looking forward to probably having to wear one when I *am* nursing! :( ) More than y'all needed to know, I'm sure....hehehe....
