Barbara I'm sooo glad I found this website, I'm a receptionist for a Dr's office.I cannot understand why insurance companies do not perform mammograms at 30.
Could you explain to me why a woman has to be 40 or more to have one done? would nothing be detected at 30? how can an insurance company have the right to say thay will not cover you for a mammogram?
I guess my main question is why not do it early to detect it early ? What if something is going on and nobody knows until your 40 by then it might be too late? Please let me know if I'm ranting and raving but I am really upset about this.Hopefully you will have some answers for me,because nobody else does .Preventative I thought that was a key word with our (WOMAN)health.
Thank You for this oppotunity to get this off my chest.
