Dear Dr. Marchbein, First, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to reply to my message- I know that you must be very busy and I think it is wonderful you take the time to answer questions. I also wanted to thank you for your kind words concerning my miscarriage. I did have one question: Should we be doing anything(as far as medication, etc.) before we get pregnant again or can these things be done when it actually happens? My doctor gave us the go-ahead to start trying again this past month. I also wanted to know if this(septic pelvic thrombophlebitis) is a pregnany-related problems or does the problem lie with me or my blood? My doctor found it strange that just less than 2 weeks before all of this happened all my tests that were good(as far as blood(white cells?)etc. and the baby was perfect. I am just very scared for this to happen again because I think that it was a touch and go situation there for awhile in the hospital and I cannot go through something like that again. I really appreciate your responding. Thank you, Dr. Marchbein. Kelly
