Pregnancy after full term delivery

I recently gave birth to a big (10'1) beautiful girl (aug.3) but she died from a congenital heart defect. After the autopsy we were told it was not chromosomal but a freak thing that occurs in .05% of babies. My heart now aches because I want her back so bad! I know I can't have her back in my arms but she will always be with me in spirit. My question is regarding a future pregnancy. When is it safe to conceive again? I have heard that it is safe as early as one cylce, is this true? At this pt. I have had one period but it was not that heavy, does that mean my uterine lining is not that thick yet?
