Pregnancy and Endometrial BiopsyFrom: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Sep 1997 21:14:47 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Drs. Hello! Well I had my first RE visit today. Did pelvic and bloodwork and scheduled a semen analysis for hubby and a endometrial biopsy for me. Question: As Murphy's Law works it would be just fitting that I would be pregnant AFTER spending the big bucks on the RE visit(think I ov on Sat) so...how soon would a blood pregnancy test come up positive? I am scheduled for the Endometrial Biopsy for the 25th of the month. Would 12 days be long enough? I am just worried about upsetting the endometrium if I'm pregnant. Also if I'm not pregnant what is the biopsy like? Painful? Remember I'm a BIG WIMP! Just want to know what to expect. Thanks in advance.
