My name is Barbara Dec 31,1996 I lost a little boy, we named him Austin I was around 20 wks in my pregnancy and had some complactions. I am needing to get some info. on stress during pregnancy. Let me tell you what happened. I had been working for a fast food resturant for over a year .I was in a management pos. when I felt like I was getting to stressed so I wanted to take a Vacation which I should have taken in July 96 But the Manager wanted me to wait until the profits came up at the store. This happened in Sept. 96 at this when she refused to give me my time I asked her if I turned in my notice as management if I could take a vacation as a crew member she then said I could but after the 2 wks.I worked in management and the following wk was my vacation I decided I realy didn't want to give up work altogether so I went to see about a crew job starting the following wk. Well the same day I found out I was pregnant and really needed the job for Insurance so I went back and told the woman and she decided that I could not be put back to work at her store.So I call the Labor Board and also try to find another job and believe it or not they wouldn't even give me a referance and therefor it kept me from getting another job. To top things off my doc had to do a laperscopic surgery on Dec. 19 well on Dec. 18 I find out my Insurance had been cancled do to the manager telling me to send the paper I had recieved on it to the wrong place. I had my surgery anyway but had a deadline to get the paper work in after the surgery and did so when I returned home. Well on Dec. 31 I had a little boy he was born dead but I got to hold him only for a few min. but its like if i had not of been so stressed would the same thing happened. It's probally something I'll never know. I have got me lawer who said if I can Find any Material that says that Stress can be a cause for a Placenta Previa that it can be used. I have found one book so far and the name of it isWomen's Bodies, Women's Wisdom by Christiane Northrup,M.D. If you could please let me know if there are any more I sure would apperciate it a lot.
