Janice, I had two ectopics, both with severe internal bleedings (and both on the same side!) According to my ob-gyn you should check the remaining tube always for two reasons: If one tube had an obstruction, the other one might as well be blocked, and after severe bleeding there is a (however small) possibility of bloodclots obstructing the tube. I sympathize with you, it is a traumatic experience. I wish you luck for the future! Anneminke
