Lisa,

Just a thought from a fellow anxiety sufferer:

Has the possibility of waiting until you have got the Xanax situation under control before you start on the ovlation shots been considered or discussed with your physician?

It appears to me to be very stressful to undrego fertility treatments under the best of circumstances. By going into it without first getting the xanax addiction under control (and make no mistake, physical addiction is what you are describing) seems to be really setting yourself up for a potential Anxiety/Bulimia relapse.

My advice would be to slow down and not over tax yourself. Remember one of the personality traits of Anxiety/Bulimia sufferers is that they tend to be overachievers and perfectionists. "I'm not into instant gratification, because it takes too long."

I wish you success with whatever choices you make. And remember I am not a Doctor just someone who has been there herself with the Anxiety thing and boy, I can still appreciate a fine vintage Xanax for special occasions. ;-) Like is that my Mother-In-Law I hear at the door???

Best Wishes, Roberta
