Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: cerclage procedure" I recently wrote about cervical polyp & my miscarriage & was promptly replied to by Kelly & Dr. Marchbein. Thank you to both of you. I would like to know if a cerclage is performed, how closely is a patient monitored ? Will an internal be performed at each visit ? I'm just worried that even with stitches in, the cervix might suddenl;y tear and I don't even know it ! I know I'm a worry wart but I just need to know nearly everything so I may prepare myself in my next pregnancy, Thanks again !!
