Anti-K in Blood ResultsFrom: Lydia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 10 Sep 1997 09:02:43 -0500 (CDT)
I am currently 33 weeks pregnant. I had an injection of Anti-D at 26 weeks following some spotting. (In the UK, where I've never heard Rhogam refered to). Two weeks later (28 weeks), I had blood drawn. The results showed the presence of both Anti-D and Anti-K. I understand that the Anti-D was probably from the shot 2 weeks previously, but what about the Anti-K? What is the significance of this? Is it something to be concerned about or fairly normal? I've just had more blood taken but probably wont get the results for two weeks. Lydia (UK) #2 due 25/10/97
