Melissa, First, I'm so sorry for your loss; you must have been devestated. Second, the removal of the polyp in all likelihood had nothing whatsoever to do with the miscarriage. Third, your doctor can test for an incompetent cervix now, while you are not pregnant; if a certain sized dilator easily passes thru a non-pregnat cervix it suggests cervical incompetence, and plans can be made to place a cerclage during pregnancy.
