MD please answerFrom: Lauren (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Aug 1997 14:17:19 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 20 years old and I'm Hypoglycemic. I took two home pregnancy tests this Friday and they both came out positive. It's been 5 weeks since my last period. I have soreness in my breasts, nausea, vertigo, increase in frequency of urination, excess hunger, and sharp, knifelike pains on the left side of my abdomen. The pains start at the same height as my hip and ends in the middle of my lower abdomen. At first they only lasted about 5 seconds and occured maybe once a day. Now they last up to 15 seconds and occur numerous times a day. A friend of mine is a Paramedic and she's worried that it might be tubal. It's Labor Day weekend so all the OBGyn offices are closed. I can only wait until Tuesday to see a MD, because the pains aren't bad enough yet to go into the ED. Any feedback from MDs or from women who have experienced this is greatly appreciated. Thank you...
