I am getting conflicting (and confusing) info: Took last Depo shot in Jan. Have not started cycle. Am experiencing extreme breast soreness. Was told may be because of "being out of" progesterone? Is this what is also preventing cycle? I guess I don't fully understand the dynamics of a cycle...I'm assuming you need a balance of estrogen AND progesterone. Why or how would I be "out" of progesterone? Current NP said Depo would just "wear off" at its own pace. (it's been 4 months) Have heard there is a progesterone and oil shot that will bring on my period. I want it!! Should I call my NP or get a 2nd opinion?
