The pill DOES NOT cause infertility. There are so many reasons for difficulty getting pregant, ranging from hte simple (you and your husband work different shifts and the kids sleep in your bed) to the more complex (tubes blocked, low sperm count, not ovulating, etc).

Since you've been trying for a year, I suggest you see your doctor.
