Peri

Progesterone is pretty well absorbed from suppositories. Some women find them incredibly messy and prefer oral (not as well absorbed so we use higher doses) or shots (painful). The way you get the progesterone is less important -- what counts is that the baby looks good. If your levels aren't higher than before, and you are going to worry alot about it, ask you doc about shots, if only because that may make you feel better and worry less (and yes, I know it is absolutely impossible to worry less when you have been dealing with infertility, but I figure if I keep telling my patients not to worry, then maybe I won't either :-) )
