Lisa: 1st things 1st It's OK to be scared. I tell all my friends that the whole time your pregnant you have questions and fears. You think of the finances of having children, your time, responsibilities. But once that little creature is here, they just seem like they've always been a part of your life. It's the greatest. You will begin to look forward to the visits. There is something new each month. In the first 12 weeks you get to hear the heartbeat. Take a recorder of some type and record this - It's Music!! Then it's getting time to schedule ultrasounds. It's fantastic seeing the little person before they get here. You get to monitor their progress and yours.

A quick tip: Keep a note pad just for the purpose of writing down notes and questions that you have for your doctor. Take it with you to each visit.

I hope all goes well. Please keep in touch. I would love to visit with you thru e-mail and give you any tips I can or tell you about my experiences to help you. My pregnancy and delivery were a piece of cake. I nursed my son and I had a great time.
