Dear Lisa,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! One thing that I think helps a lot is to have a friend to go with you. Your mom or partner or a close girlfriend. They can offer support and help you remember any questions you wanted to ask. If you have no one to accompany you there are almost ALWAYS wonderful nurses in the office who will stand by your side and tell you what is going to happen. If you are anxious try and tell the doctor you're concerned, even if it just means saying you are scared about the whole thing. Good communication with your doctor is important, they are paid to LISTEN as well as deliver a healthy mother and baby to term.Congrats again and good luck with your pregnancy.
