Abdominal Cerclage

I would like information about the abdominal cerclage. In the past I've miscarried due to a weak cervix. I was given a cerclage, but that was not enough. My docter subscribed brethene to induce the contrations but that was not enough, at 17 weeks I was due to get a stitch put in further up the cervix but I never made it. The contractions were uncontrollable and my cervix had opened enough that my baby's feet were in the canal. Please if anyone has info on abdominal cerlage please email me. There are a lot of women who would appreciate this info.

Sincerely,

Janice

Dear Noelle:

I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. I've have a problem with my cervix as well, it sounds as though you may need a cerclage. I am not a doctor so I could be wrong, but reading the letter you posted it reminded me of my situation. I had to get a cerclage due to the fact that my cervix was weak, at 17 weeks my cervix had opened and I was due to get yet another stitch further up the cervix which I believe is called a Abdominal Cerclage. Im not saying you should do this, but please consult with your mid-wife and ask her if you may need a cerclage. I hope I have helped you in this matter, please email on how things are going.

Sincerely, Janice
