If you want to check on a physicians med/legal history you can inquire through the National Data Bank. If, however, you want some useful information regarding your choice of physician, my advise would be to: 1) select the hospital that you wich to deliver at 2) speak with one or more of the OB nurses of the chief resident if it is a teaching hospital. They know who is good and who isn't.
