Periods out-of-phaseFrom: Anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 19 Aug 1997 16:34:06 -0500 (CDT)
I know there has been plenty of posts on irregular periods but I was wondering if someone could explain why I seem to be getting two different periods. I'm 26, have always had normal paps and had my last internal about 6 months ago. For the past few months I will get my 'normal' period with all of the symptoms (tender breasts, fatigue, cramping) a few days before but then less than 2 weeks later I will start bleeding again, it lasts about a week and is brownish. Then 2 weeks again I will get the normal period. I'm scheduled for tests but I was wondering if someone can give me a preliminary idea on what it could be. Sorry for the nerdy subject (I'm a physicist) Sigrid
