Open tubes! Uh, yippee, I think...

Dear Drs. and everyone,

Well I had the hysterosalpingogram this morning and my tubes were open! Thanks to the writers who wrote that it would hurt but it would be mangeable; I cried(a little) and felt bad for about an hour and a half but now I am feeling okay. The cramping didn't last too long. I think I should feel relieved that my tubes are open but I feel even more worried now. Now where are we supposed to go? At least if my tubes were blocked we would KNOW what the problem was. I feel like we are grasping at straws. I know nine months isn't really that long but it SEEMS like an eternity! I feel like we are really going down the infertility path now. It was so easy getting pregnant that first time... My doctor suggested we try one last month before going to a reproductive endocrinologist. I was wondering how fast does the dye leave the uterus and tubes? It won't cause any birth defects if I luck out and get pregnant, will it? I was a little worried about this but of course didn't think of it til we were on our way home...thanks in advance.
