Re: Tampon hunting

Just a humorous point regarding tampon hunting.

A friend once went to the ER at a military hospital because she couldn't find the tampon. After an exam, it turned out there was not one present. Either one had been removed and another not inserted, or the tube had been empty. (I presume it was the end of a cycle when flow is minimal).

The doc wrote up a counseling statement *that the patient had to sign* saying that she was instructed in the proper use of tampons.

The doc then handed the patient the chart (as is often the custom with military medical records), and she removed that page as soon as she got to the car. Duh. With all that embarassment, who would want to keep that page in the chart?
