I noticed that no one has chosen to take a chance on my query about the justification for a c/s with an OP baby at a +2 station. I wanted to mention that pushing time for me was at about 2 1/2 hours, no caput or moulding, and the midwife remarked in her notes that I was moving the baby down well when pushing on the toilet. Please know that I am not searching for approval for a lawsuit, in fact, the OB who recommended the cesarean died about 2 years ago in a scuba diving accident. I'm just looking for the opinions of other physicians and midwives about what they would have done in this situation. My son is now 3, and I'd like to get pregnant with another soon, and am hoping for a VBAC!!
