Re: Another MiscarriageFrom: Marcia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Jul 1997 11:58:10 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Jamie, I'm not a doctor, but I'm someone who has two miscarriages. I'm sorry this happened to you. I know that it is difficult to get rid of the feelings you have when you first discover you are pregnant. I have a child born before the miscarriages, so I know how special that time is. What I have to say is just advice and you can take or leave it. First, give yourself some time to grieve and when you feel you are ready, pick a doctor you think you can trust. It doesn't have to be a fertility specialist unless you want that. Second, if you want another chance to get pregnant, you might start reading up on various tests or reasons why miscarriage occurs. A really good website that helped me when I was searching is: http://www.pinelandpress.com/support/rp. It's a scary time for you, I'm sure. Step back a little bit and if you feel you need it, consider seeing a therapist to help you get in touch with what's going on. I'll be reading here to see how you are doing. Good luck!At Thu, 31 Jul 1997, jamie wrote: > >I'm back, I wrote a cuople months ago about having a possible >incompetent cervix and the miscarriage in December.
