Pain Pill Options

All right, guys, please don't tell me just "Tylenol". There must be something more out there that I could ask my doctor about. If you haven't heard already, I am ONE DAY LATE(!!!) for my period and hoping it won't be around for about 9 months.

I'm 26 y/o. My body reacts to the weather and I get stiff and sore with some pretty good pain. The more I'm on my legs, the more its going to hurt. Anything less than standing at work is not an option. The legs are the usual place for me.

I'm getting tired of taking pills now. I've tried Tylenol. Nothing worth trying. Tried up to 800mg's Motrin: not really. Relafen 500: slight difference, but not enough.

I know I can be a bad girl @ times. I've been trying to behave myself and take only Tylenol unless *absolutely* necessary. Lately it has been just that. After working till 2am I can't lay in bed for a few hours and cry myself to sleep some nights because nothing works well enough. DH (Dear Husband, Darling Husband, Damned Husband---take your pick) doesn't allow Ben Gay. A warm or hot microwaved towel will help some.

Any ideas, people? I've got a doctor app't tomorrow. I can run anything by him then. Meanwhile I may need to take some Tylenol on top of the Relafen I had @ 7:30 this am.

Hey, I know it may not be okay w/o checking w/my own doc, but how is Tylenol 3 if I would be preg? I have some left over from my migraines. I won't take any until I talk to him.

Thanks!

AnnMarie
