What are the possible after effects of having a hysterectomy? a) Will I have a greater chance of organ prolapse ? b) Is there a greater chance of bladder problems as I age? c) Can my ovaries ( left intact) experience a decreases blood supply and cause me to experience an earlier than normal menopause? d) Will I experience a different sexual response without my uterus? e) How many or you patients who have had a hysterectomy ( although happy to be free of pain) experience other effects that may be related to castration.
