Bedrest Ideas! :)From: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Jul 1997 13:39:10 -0500 (CDT)
To the bedridden, I was on "couch rest" the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy and found out some very useful things... -learn to sew, in most cases you can recline and bring a card table up over most of your belly to sew. I learned to sew nursing shirts by borrowing some patterns and advice-And most of them are pretty good! -Learn to hand quilt- baby quilts etc. Takes very little effort and there are tons of how to books. -Make crafts/unique items for the nursery, lots of things are really inexpensive and make great personal items. -Teach your cat to lay on your belly and give you a tummy massage--my personal favorite, good for hours of enjoyment! -Make a baby album on the computer and then print out the pages-most office stores have three-ring Sheet Protectors that are perfect for making albums. Write your own baby story. then leave spaces for pictures. AND last but not least let the dog and the husband wait on you hand and foot--It is your time to feel special!!!!!!!!!!! Hope some of these ideas helped! Anne N.
