Can someone please explain the difference between IVF, GIFT, & ZIFT. I have found definitions for all three & they seem to be similar or practically the same. When would each be appropriate? & Is there a big difference in price? Here's some background on me: I'm 29 yrs. & have been trying to get pg 2 1/2 yrs. Have adhesions & problems w/tubes that have been corrected w/surgery but I have no fimbria & it's unknown if the cilia are working properly. One tube is swollen & I don't ovulate without the help of Clomid. (100mg days 5-9). I also have Graves (Thyroid disease) but it's stable w/synthroid .112 mg daily. DH SA came back normal. & per HSG my tubes aren't blocked. This was my 2nd month 'O-ing', but we didn't have any luck... AF came yesterday... :(
