Linda, We've written before. Hi. And now to the educational portion of our show...

Not every cycle ending in a period is an ovulatory cycle. These are called *anovulatory cycles*.The corollary is that an ovulatory cycle always ends approximately 2 weeks later with a period unless you're pregnant.

It has been my experience that cycles less thqn 21 days apart are usually anovulatory. Above 21 days, it depends.
