Thanks for your response! I did call my dr. As of today, I have been bleeding for 13 days - some days very heavy (heavy is needing to change pads at least every hour) some days lighter. My Dr. said that it is Ok. if it is light - "it should regulate it self over time" but if it gets heavy again to call again. I am willing to accept that I have to just deal with this for now. (The Dr. believes that the abnormal bleeding is due to hormonal problems) but I am not sure if I am comfortable with his response. I really just want to know! I hate having some bleeding all the time and not knowing when it will get heavy. In addition, the cramps are really bad some days. Should I just sit back and wait or should I be doing something more?
