Many thanks for your reply .... I am less worried (read panicky) now than I was before. I suppose that I ought really to have asked all these questions when I was in the hospital but frankly I couldn't have remembered my own name for about an hour after the u/s when they could find no foetal heartbeat ... the u/s was abdominal and was on a portable (not very techy) machine. Also, the usual staff sonographer was not available & so I was scanned by the SHO (In Florida that would probably read Junior Intern ?). Thanks for your congratulations .... I hope it all works out too !! I'll update after my tranvaginal u/s next Friday. Thanks for your time ... I greatly appreciate it.
