Hi again !!! I've kind of found the answers to some of my questions. There's an artice at this URL http://www.childbirth.org/articles/EUE.html which charts expected findings on transvaginal u/s from 4 weeks on. It would appear that the foetal heart is found in 86% of people presenting at 5weeks & 100% at 6 weeks. So ... I will/must assume that other u/s would have lower percentages for similar dates (this assumes that transvaginal sonography is a super duper go-faster stripes version of the traditional (wow) u/s scan) I don't believe I should be panicing for the "bean" just yet.
