I had known many of the dangers before but it always helps to get more info. My friend is very dear and I want to help her. She has been a "reformed" bulimic since her sophomore year in High school 7 years ago when she first had the problem. I am not sure what started it again. Anyway...I am faced with many a dilemma... I live 4.5 hours away from her and though we write e-mail every week I can not SEE her and make sure she is eating. Two, I am not sure if it is ethical(?) for me to approch HER doctor about the situation--although he/she will probably figure it out after the first OB visit. I thought there might be a possible solution- she thought about going to MY doc--1/2 way between us. And then I could talk directly to him... Three, I am willing to jeopardize our friendship by being firm about her treatment--I am afraid she will deny everything and get mad at me--just so she gets help for her and her baby. This is very worrisome for me. Well I am just worried all over. I thought maybe someone could help with the ethics of the situation as well as other advice. Thank you very much and if ANYONE has any other input PLEASE HELP!Sorry this was so long... Thank you very much
