The rise in temperature occurs AFTER you ovulate. Don't sweat missing coitus last night if you had it the night before -- the "fertile window" is the 5 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation.

There's nothing like infertility and "timed intercourse" to put a damper on things. My husband's biggest turn-off is me calling him up and saying "get home, I turned blue (+ ovulation test)"

And since you ovulated the day before the temp spike and were having sex in the "fertile window", you may be pregnant already!
