I think a second opinion is a wonderful idea, especially if you have questions or concerns that yu feel were not adequately addressed by your doctor.
Are there any drugs which I can

Sometimes they are very helpful in shrinking fibroids enough to allow a vaginal hysterectomy. Other medications can help with the cramps if they are your only symptom. You should ask your doctor (or a second opinion doctor) what ALL your options are, along wiht the good points and the bad points of each. Once you have all that information, you and your doctor can TOGETHER decide what's best for you. Good luck.
