Hi Beverly,

First of all let me say that I admire your perseverance! Infertility treatments can be so stressful. I know firsthand how frustrating it is when a cycle goes by and you look back at your chart and realized you "missed" it. Just when you think you understand your body, your cycle, your charts...they fool you. Personally, I am in the "waiting to see if we hit or missed" phase....(a.k.a. postovulatory!).

As far as your timing goes, every day or every other day is fine (according to every book I have read on the subject) provided there is hospitable cervical mucus present. Sperm can survive longer in the eggwhite type mucus. You didn't mention your hubby's sperm as being a factor so I am assuming he has checked out ok. Timing can be a little different if there are male-factor problems.

On the subject of whether or not to try today - on the day of your rise - my advise (purely non-medical) is WHY NOT? Adding a few more sperm certainly won't hurt your chances, plus it will give you one less thing to question later on.

Good luck...and have fun! Keep us posted.
