The bleeding stopped by the 3rd day of taking the progesterone and today (7th day) a have had a little spotting (with small clots.) Is this to be expected? (I was expecting bleeding when I stop takeing this, but not before.) I have been dealing with frequent, heavy periods for several years and the dr. has recently recommended a hysterectomy. I am trying to see if something else can help for a short time (ie. progesterone pills or BC pills - which have not helped in the past.)
